NetPay Merchant Services Ireland Expands Irish presence

NetPay Merchant Services Ireland has today announced their ambitious expansion plans with the announcement of its intention to recruit 20 further staff in 2016.

NetPay provides card payment services to over 1,000 businesses across the country and has experienced exponential growth over the last two years since the business was set up in March 2014.

Demand for card payment services in Ireland is growing. In fact, Ireland’s move from being a cheque and cash dependent economy to an electronic one has resulted in €1.8bn being added to the nation’s GDP in just the last four years.

NetPay are currently recruiting a team of Telemarketers as well as additional Sales Executives to provide support for businesses in all 26 counties and deal with the increased demand in payment services both face to face and online. The investment will also see a boost in the number of customer service and finance staff. As part of this expansion NetPay have also moved to a new home in Park West, to accommodate its growing team.

Eamon Rennie, Country Manager, NetPay Merchant Services Ireland says “NetPay is committed to helping Ireland increase the use of electronic payments. The growth in contactless and online payments over the past two years has been exceptional; eCommerce has grown by 17%, as Irish consumers spend €6.5bn online per year; this now accounts for 21% of spending on cards. We want to help every business get access to these payment services and, in turn, help them get access to more customers and improve their cashflow.

“The card payment industry in Ireland has traditionally been dominated by High Street banks and larger independent payment service providers. NetPay Solutions Group Managing Director nominated for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards – Small Business Award

NetPay Solutions Group is celebrating after it was announced that its Managing Director Carl Churchill is a finalist for the Small Business Award in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards, taking place on 25th November at the Ballroom Southbank, Central London, are set to become the recognised standard of excellence amongst entrepreneurs. They mark a new era for entrepreneurship in the UK and this inaugural event is set to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution and inspiration provided by entrepreneurial businesses.

NetPay and the NFRN Commercial Announce Partnership

NetPay and NFRN Commercial has today formally announced their partnership and offer to all independent newsagents and convenience store owners. This hugely positive and promising partnership was announced at the NFRN's National Council during which NFRN Commercial and NetPay jointly presented the deal, which will inevitably benefit NFRN members.

The NFRN welcomed the ruling made by the European Court on the 11th September 2014, bringing the end to excessively high interchange fees for lower value transactions and have actively encouraged the development of a more competitive system. The launch of the iPhone® 6 and new Apple watch, Apple® has analysts predicting increased growth of mobile commerce and the digital wallet.

NetPay launches NEW payments products

3rd February 2015

NetPay has today launched 2 new payment features into its Revolution Online and Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) portal.

LinkToPay and QR code features are now part of NetPay’s growing product portfolio, providing businesses with additional ways to be able to take payments from their customers.

LinkToPay allows businesses to send their customer a message either by email or by text with a link for them to pay securely via a web page by credit or debit card.

This feature is ideal for those businesses that do not currently have electronic billing systems as it allows them to send out their invoices complete with the facilities to be able to take payment ensuring quick and easy payment and improving cashflow.

The New QR code feature is a quick and easy way to take payments. Customers simply make a purchase by scanning a QR code on their mobile phone and they are automatically taken through to a payment page to complete their purchase.

Today, NetPay Merchant Services was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Company of the Year - Financial Services category in The 11th Annual International Business Awards today.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2014 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

NetPay announce its Green Payments Programme

NetPay has today announced its Green Payments Programme as they invest in the Woodland Trust’s Woodland Carbon project.

This is part of NetPay’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and their ongoing commitment to excellence in all aspects of their business, including their dedication to continually improve and reduce the environmental impact of the services they provide.

NetPay’s key aim is to achieve ISO140001 standard in both our UK and Ireland offices during 2015. NetPay will also be the first payment processor in the UK and Ireland to offer ‘green payments’ and mitigate the carbon emissions of their payments network.

Carl Churchill, Managing Director of NetPay said "The Woodland Trust's Woodland Carbon project, offers a unique opportunity for us to invest in local carbon projects. NetPay are helping to create new spaces for wildlife and make the UK landscape more resilient to climate change impacts. We have worked with the Woodland Trust to create 1250m2 of new native woodland. In time this will absorb at least 50 tonnes of carbon dioxide, helping with our strategy to reduce our business carbon footprint"

The Woodland Carbon project was created to help companies reduce their carbon footprint by locking up carbon emissions through planting trees in the UK to help support our natural eco system, and establish new woodlands for generations of people to enjoy now and in the future.

Britain’s leading businesses, business leaders and social enterprises have today been revealed as finalists for the 2014 National Business Awards. The finalists announced today represent categories including the Smith & Williamson Entrepreneur of the Year, Santander Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year and the Inflexion International Growth Business of the Year. The Ashridge Business School Leader of the Year finalists and Decade of Excellence winner will be announced over the coming months, with the Duke of York New Entrepreneur of the Year finalists announced last month following a judging event in Liverpool.

NetPay and UKWDA finalise partnership to bring merchant services to members

NetPay and The UK Web Design Association (UKWDA) have today announced a partnership that will offer its 10,000 members the ability to resell NetPay’s online payment processing services allowing them to gain additional recurring revenue in addition to services they already provide their customers.

This partnership allows web and graphic design businesses to remain competitive within the market place, attract new opportunities and deliver a service that is compelling to new and existing customers whilst delivering revenue and profit growth for their business.

Launch of NetPay Ireland

Eastleigh, UK –:NetPay Group has today highlighted its commitment to supporting a reboot of the Irish economy by providing businesses with competitive merchant payment services through its partner channel.

After months of preparation and investment NetPay Group has now broadened its reach into Ireland in a bid to help businesses increase their competitiveness and reduce their overhead costs, offering a convenient and cost effective way for their customers to pay.

In April 2013 the Irish Government introduced The National Payments Plan (NPP), a three year plan, targeting savings of up to €1 billion per annum to the economy by a doubling of electronic payments by 2015 through a significant shift away from cash and cheque payments.
